Normans Bay beach house

We had the pleasure of working on an incredible beach house in Normans Bay. The old “Beach Hut” was demolished, and a new stylish and economical beach house was constructed in its place. Some highlights for the River ODP team included installing the kitchen, internal doors, wardrobes, and the stainless steel wire system for the oak staircase inside. We also installed Millboard cladding outside, a fantastic brand that offers decking as well. Although it is slightly higher-end price-wise, it is designed to last a long time, requires very minimal maintenance, never needs painting, and comes with a long warranty.

We installed new fascia, soffit, and guttering all around, as well as a stainless steel and glass balustrade around the balcony. Another highlight was the windows and doors, for which we used the “Origin” brand. This high-end product offers fantastic maintenance-free properties and a very long warranty. Given the property’s seaside location, it’s crucial that the windows and doors can withstand harsh weather. The powder-coated anthracite grey finish is of the highest standard. The Origin aluminum front door features a slam-shut locking system with a modern-looking stainless steel door bar.

Overall, it was a pleasure to be a part of this project and a joy to work with the customer and other involved trades.
